Travel restrictions
For ferrying the car an advanced written authorization from Sixt Italy is required. The use of car ferries to Sardinia is not permitted.
Cross Border Rentals are allowed to the following countries:
Austria, Belgium, Croatia, Denmark, France, Germany, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Portugal, Slovenia, Spain, Switzerland.
Cross Border Rentals to Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia are allowed with the exception of the following vehicle group: CLAR, IDMR, ILMR, SDMR, SDAR, IVAR and FDAR.
In case of violation against Cross Border & Territorial Restrictions all protections lose their validity.
