Hertz vehicles cannot be driven in and/or dropped off in any African, Asian and Middle-East country, nor in Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bosnia Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Georgia, Greece, Hungary, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Macedonia, Malta, Moldova, Montenegro, Morocco, Poland, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Tajikistan, Turkey, Turkmenistan, Ukraine and Uzbekistan.
Vehicles groups listed below cannot be driven out of the United Kingdom:
Any vehicle with 6 seats or more
(G) Audi A4 Aut. or similar
(H) Mercedes E-Class or similar
Electric vehicles
Dream Collection, Fun Collection, Green Collection
Hertz Prestige Collection
All vans
For one way rentals and round trip rentals from UK mainland to Channel Island, Isle of Man, Republic of Ireland and to Continental Europe an additional surcharge will apply.
No surcharge will apply for taking the vehicles into the Isle of Wight.
There are no restrictions for driving from Northern Ireland to the Republic of Ireland.
One-way rentals to the following islands: Isle of Man, Guernsey or Jersey are available with an additional fee in the amount of £ 600.00 (including tax) on all vehicle groups.
Should these restrictions be ignored, all insurance (Third Party Liability, CDW, TP, PI), if accepted, shall be null and void. The driver will be held fully responsible in case of accidents and will bear all consequences, including the cost of repatriation of the damaged vehicle.
