Travel restrictions
Due to revised legal regulations in Switzerland, cross-border is not allowed for EU residents as of May 1st 2016.
There are no changes to the below regulations for domestic and non-EU customers:
Entry into any country in zone III is not permitted with any FLIZZR vehicle.
Audi, BMW, Mercedes-Benz and Volkswagen cars are only permitted to enter countries in zone I. Up to and including size LD**/LW** (except PF**/PT**) vehicles are permitted to enter also countries marked with * in zone II.
Passenger cars of all other manufacturers may only enter zones I and II.
Off-road vehicles/ SUV's and convertibles of Audi, BMW, Mercedes-Benz and Volkswagen are permitted to enter countries in zone I. Furthermore, all other manufacturers up to size F*** are also permitted to enter countries in zone I and those marked with * in zone II. People carriers and minibuses of all brands may only be driven in zones I and II
Zone I: Andorra, Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Gibraltar, Great Britain, Ireland, Italy, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Monaco, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, San Marino, Sweden, Switzerland, Spain, Vatican.
Zone II: Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Hungary*, Slovenia*, Croatia, Czech Republic*, Slovakia*
Zone III: All countries, which are not in zone I or II.
In case of offence against Cross Border & Territorial Restrictions all insurances lose their validity.
For travels into Croatia, Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Slovakia and
Slovenia a charge of EUR 12.- per day, max. EUR 42.- per rental applies.
