Good evening/morning, we are hesitating to travel to Madagaskar and would prefer - as we do always on our holiday trips - to rent our own car and drive ourselves (no locally hired driver). Is that a recommended and common practise for foreign holiday makers? We heard so often that specially in Madagaskar it's highly recommended NOT do drive on your own but hire a car+driver. What kind of car should be hire in case (we are 4 adults age about 40-52) - 4WD? Thanks in advance for your assistance, Gerald
